Mr. Myanza is a holder of Master of Arts Degree – Economics from BZ University, Multan, Pakistan, Advanced Diploma in Economic Planning (ADEP) from Mzumbe University /IDM Tanzania and Development Studies (DS) Dip from Selly Oak Colleges Birmingham UK. He is a well conversant and sharp-witted economist with wide working experiences in economic development aspects for more than 20 years, has in different periods participated in appraising, formulation and execution of socio-economic projects responding community development challenges that need his intensive skills in Economic and Social development plans, Money Trade and Finance, Managerial and Administration. He worked with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) as Planning and Control Officer, Ministry of Local Government and Regional Administration as District Planning Officer, Belgian International NGO (COOPIBO) programme as Programme Coordinator, SNV/TIP – The Netherlands Development Intl Organization as a National Manager, The National Network of Farmers’ Groups Tanzania as a National Coordinator.
He was later appointed one of the steering committee members with ToRs by WB and TASAF to advise on how community foundations could be encouraged and effectively operating in Tanzania. Thereafter, appointed the President of Morogoro Municipal CF, and later the establishment of the Tanzania CF Network was done and was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Network. Myanza is serving several professional bodies with different capacities including the Tanzania Chamber of commerce Industry and Agriculture, Morogoro (chairman), MVTTC/VETA – Vocational Education Training Authority Morogoro Council Member (councilor) and the Board Member and Vice Chairman of Morogoro Rural and Urban water and sanitation Authority – MORUWASA, He is a consultant, involved in research and publications and has been trusted in several consultancy works in Tanzania. He is among the champions of community foundations and philanthropy activities in Tanzania.
